GT1 Ultimate not starting up

Thursday I received my GT1 ultimate. I plugged the HDMI cable (on different ports), I plugged power cable in and out several times, I tried to reset with paperclip.. But none of this matters, still not starting up.

The remote seems to work, the red light is on. The player white front light is on.. but no response to remote.. TV says no signal.

Anyone who could help me out?

Try turning on the monitor first, then plugging in the power to the machine. If not, try replacing the HDMI cable.

I had same problem. It was a faulty HDMI cable.

Yesterday, I received my GT1 Ultimate, and I noted the folowing:

a). If I power on first GT1 Ultimate and then the TV, the hdmi signal is sent correctly to TV, but
b) If I power on firts TV and then GT1 Ultimate, the hdmi signal is not sent to TV ( no signal ).
Is this a malfunction or a setting error?
