This information is greatly appreciated, I have 2 GT1 Ultimates, 1 is almost a year old with android 6.0 and the other one is brand new with android 7.1 just hooked it up yesterday and they both will not detect my location. Just keeps going in circles searching for the location:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'( .
I appreciated the software that beelink sent me in a email response to help me upgrade my GT1 Utimate 6.0 to Android 7.1, but flashing it to 7.1 isnt going to help as my brand new box has the same issue. Atleast if Beelink releases a fix , I will be up to date with the OS.
This is happening because Yahoo has updated there API for their weather web site, which isnt Beelinks fault, but Beelink has not included any other options for weather:'(:'(:'( , which would have been a huge bonus. Maybe they will read my post and consider adding a second options for a second loader/weather widet or just another weather widget to choose from.
Hoping Beelink fixes this issue in a few days. Its a really pain not being able to see what the local weather forecast is going to be like before you go out.
I actually purchased my second GT1 Ultimate based on the main screen features, its easy to use, with a relly nice layout.
But not having a working weather widget that just goes in circles constantly searching for the website, taking up precious memory and cpu power, is really annoying. I never had any buffering issue untill this happened.
