Is there a TV OS install?

Apperently my new BeeLink is not advertiseing as an Android TV OS. Example: plex installs in moble mode. Is there a way to get the beelink to act mode like the android TV fire, so that TV apps work?

yes, you have to do some technical work to do it, and install a different ROM.. its not for the faint of heart.

Any chance to back to the original Beelink ROM if any trouble ?
I'm a little scared to upgrade to Android TV...

If you can learn how to use either the Amlogic USB Burning Tool (which requires a male-to-male Type A USB cable) or BootcardMaker (which needs a MicroSD card) to flash the custom ROM, you'll then know what you need to revert back to the original OEM firmware posted on this forum.

If you use my OTA update (.zip file) from the Update & Backup app, you'll need to revert with the .img file because the new firmware doesn't include that OEM app.
