Exact same situation here!
I installed the new update via SD Card, with the original firmware posted here in the forum, and this update totally broken Wireless connection of the device, wireless antenna cannot be powered on anymore.
I tried doing a full wipe with no results, i tried to wipe cache in recovery mode, and then I installed again firmware, but WIFI is always broken.
Impossible to activate it.
This is weird, a prerooted device that doesn't likes root, and a firmware upgrade that breaks wireless.
I am really really upset.
How can I do a full wipe of the device and revert to a previous version of the firmware? In this forum there are no tutorials, and no previous firmware downloads.
Please help.

I know what is occurring, different ones are upgrading GT1 Standard / Home boxes to firmware build 113M0. They have S/N starting with A912, and these boxes aren't meant for 113M0 release, only 111M0. Therefore the wireless feature is disabled and cannot be turned back on. You can downgrade back to 111M0 for GT1 with S/N starting with A912. All will be alright once more.

You may have GT1 Ultimate, doesn't matter. People is mix-maxing box firmware and It is causing wireless issue.

I know what we talking about, I'm actually the very few who actually pays attention to details around here. GT1 for example. :P
