Everyone who've bought this box because of it being rooted, they wouldn't appreciate if the OTA and official firmware posts started serving unrooted updates. It'll have to be strictly the other option, or it'll ruffle many people's feathers.

The only hiccup that I see is, or with at least Netflix.. you needing to manually download the APK file instead of being capable of doing it via Google Play Store. To maintain this app, you have to manually seek the updates and apply every-time. However this is more desirable to me, and likely many, instead of not being able to manipulate the system area of the box.

Netflix 5.x versions of the app works, unless you've applied the dark screen workaround. You'll then be faced with Netflix not able to play videos. If you don't apply the workaround, then the screen is to dark on the global scale, videos and photo viewing.

I've read other boxes had similar issues and they fixed without using bootvideo. Why is these here GT1 Standard / Ultimate boxes continuing a year? now with this issue? Doesn't Beelink company hear our cries?!?

I don't understand this rooted/unrooted issue, I have 2 GT1 Standard and both OTA has worked every time with no issues. That being said the very last update messed up the OTA and had to sd card the 113M0 update to fix the error. But next OTA is in Question.

My problem regarding root device is not whith OTA update but with many apps that doesn't work with rooted devices.

If i dont want to delete my data do i have to do the pin option bit or can i just update via microsd using update&backup app.

I haven't tried the USB method. However if you looking to update and maintain all your stuff, you can use sdcard method. You can either use the pin reset or use update & backup app

Try running update put file zip on microSD went to update and backup select file click update on reboot it get stuck on the bike logo and does not run update please help I have to pull plug to get it to boot up

Za AP6255 SN A912 nema podrske za 6.0.1 a kamoli za 7.1 bolje ne pokusavajte nista jer pokvaricete i ovo malo sto radi.Meni je na 110MO i dalje nista OTA uvek izbacuje da je sistem updejtovan,a na sajtu kao pise ima nova verzija,ali OTA ga ne vidi,zasto?

Nope it doesn't work. Even after unroot, my IPTV app still not working. We need a clean unroot from factory.
