BIOS UPGRADE NEEDED FOR DEBIAN 9!!!!!!!!

Hi,
This is a mess! I bought this mini PC to create a dedicated domotic plateform with DEBIAN + JEEDOM. This instead of using one of my laptop with a VM.

But...impossible to root on the Debian USB or in dual root. Even with the secure root desactivated, the BIOS seems not compatible!

Please Beelink, confirm you will provide very soon an upgrade, if not I ask for a refund to my resseller.

I am running into the same problem trying to install Debian, what is crazy is Ubuntu Live USB works fine. What is it about Debian Live USB that would make it not work at the BIOS level? Anyway, what ever came of this did anyone figure it out or is there a BIOS update to allow it?

The problem is: the grub version of debian is older and doesn't support Apollo Lake. Using reFind will help: https://thanhsiang.org/faqing/node/221
