Hello,

I get a Bellink GT1 with old firmware which is 6.0.

I would like to know if there is a quick way to upgrade to 7.1.2 (705NO) ?

Or if I have to upgrade manually on the box (Maybe that there is more than 10 upgrade to go 7.1.2.

Yesterday I try to put his version but when i reboot on SD card, nogthing happen except to freeze on launch Beelink Logo...

Maybe that i need to make a first upgrade with another ROM ?

Thank you by advance,

Sim

You have to use USB Burn method (1. post).
Upgrade from  version 6 to 7 is possible only with this method (OTA or SD card can be used only within the same version) Upgrade can be done directly to last 705 version, no need to use another ROMs betwen 6 and 7.

Actually you don't have to use the USB Burning Tool to upgrade from 6.x to 7.x. You only need the micro-SD Card and Amlogic Burn Card Maker software. To be-able to make a means for upgrading without the use of USB Burning Tool and Male-Male Cable and/or adapter. Keeping in mind, this is working with the EPROM file, and also means you loose all your box programming.

Hi king555. Thanks, however I'm not affiliated with Beelink. My services are volunteer only.

You still didn't follow what I'm saying.

Beelink releases an EPROM firmware package ( GT1_*N0_*.img ) that is advertised to be used with Amlogic USB Burning Tool. Beelink typically also releases SD Card package to be used to upgrade and maintain all one's installs and customizations.

I'm saying that the EPROM firmware package can be applied to the Micro-SD Card to have the Beelink box install the latest and supposedly brightest firmware. Skipping the need for Male-2-Male adapter or cable and all that is required. However, of course all one's installs and customizations are wiped / lost.

Phant0m,yes I know you are an "GT1 volunteer* and not a Beelink man, but i appreciated your job for GT1 community.  About  firmware .img file on microSD card: how to flash? Reset button (toothpick) or Backup&Restore with dummy update zip file or another tool?

Thanks king555. I'm happy to help when time permits.

I see the wheels turned the right way, you got it all sorted out now. Yes with the Amlogic Burn Card Maker software :lol
