In build.prop change this line from

persist.sys.app.rotation=original

to

persist.sys.app.rotation=force_land

Thanks. I already know you can force it. The point is, why has this changed? This should be by default like before. Who thought It would be a superb idea to have me try to use apps that are laying horizontally? Almost feel like I'm being punked when I've seen this change.

That's funny. Only day later and It was being rolled out for G912/S912 boxes. The Firmware release date is stamped being 28th. Where's the package for manual upgrading? :P

maybe synced sources from amlogic and forgot to change it as what beelink and most others put on these boxes is firmware for phone / tablet which expects an accelerometer to handle app rotation

that's why I made a patch to convert to proper Android TV, its better suited to these devices and the TV
The gapps package included in 705 is also outdated :sleepy:

Hello everybody!!!

I just received a new OTA update for my GT1 Ultimate (AX12). I tried to download the update (that went well) and tried to install it but unfortunately, I got an error after the reboot. My TV Box booted normally after a hard restart I performed.

The codename of the update is:
NHG47L.2017.10.20 test-keys-162131

Does anyone has any information about bug fixes and optimizations of this update...?
Is it OK to install it (and how...) or it will make the TV Box unstable & unusable...?

I saw from somewhere. Someone recommend after select download, when a dialog box pops up to ask install now or later, choose later. Reboot the box, and it should install automatically with no error. Also, all usb device should be disconnected.

Ethernet still broken after the device wakes from sleep. So sad :(
