2 days ago I was playing Microsoft Solitaire Collection when the game froze at some point. I tried to restart the box with the remote control, but even after a few minutes nothing happened, just the Android message saying "Restarting". Then I unplug the power cable, waited 30 seconds and pluged in again, but since then all I got is the first startup screen (the "B inside a red circle" logo). I tried everything, but it seems the box can't startup. So, now all I have is a 70€ paper weight...

I need help! Is it possible to make a full reset, in order the box start with original configuration (yes, I know, loosing all my data...)? Is there any other way to get this box working again?

Thank you.

Unplug the box, press in and hold the small reset button on the bottom of the box (a small hole) with a paperclip or something similar while you plug the box back in. This will boot the box into recovery mode and allow you to do a factory reset.

Thank you for your answer. But, unfortunatelly, did't work. Even pressing and hold the reset button while I pluged the power cable back in (and I'm sure I was pressing the reset button because I felt some kind of button being pressed inside the box), all I got is the first startup screen (same as before). I tryed what you said several times. I tried to hold the reset button for just 1 second, for 5 seconds, for 10 seconds, for 30 seconds... but the result was always the same.

Any other ideas?

Thank you.

You could download the newest ROM img file and install it to a micro sd card with a free utility called "Burn Card Maker", insert the micro sd card into the box then plug the box in. This should fix things for you, if you don't care about data loss.

Are you talking about the "Beelink GT1_109" version? I couldn't find any search option in this forum, but I managed to find a thread with link to that version. Nevertheless, it seems to be for the GT1 box, not the GT1 Ultimate. Where can I find the last ROM for the Ultimate? And what about the Burn Card Maker, where can I find it?

Thank you.

Well, meanwhile I have managed to get to the boot menu. What I did different this time was that I not just unpluged the power cable, instead I unpluged the charger from the wall power conector.

But, it seems none of the options available work. On the botton of screen I get messages saying:

E:Cannot load volume /misc!
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)

I tried the following options (on that order):

Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Mount /system

Neither of that options worked, all because of the "E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)"

I don't believe that trying to apply an update via SDCard will solve that mount problem. What should I do?

And, by the way, what on Earth could had cause that? The only app open at the time was Microsoft Solitaire Collection, an app with very few requirements from processor, memory and storage! I just can imagine what happens when people use heavy apps like Asphalt 8 or others like that!

Thank you.

The worst tv box. It frosts all the time. After upgrading ota did not work properly. I change the firmware I downloaded from the beelink site and I always had the same effect. I gave 70 € and the tv box does not work. I never buy again anymore beelink !!
