watching 3D movies

Hi all,

Is somebody tried to watch a 3D movies ?

I tried to watch a 3d movie with kodi, or vlc, or mx player etc ...and It was impossible to watch with glasses : I believed it was my TV lg smart tv, but in 2D mode, I notice the screen size of all 3d movie (not 2D) changed with movie actions ! It appeared black space at left and right of the picture with moving size. So in 3D mode the 3D tv algorithm is out !
I don't know why ? do you know this issue ? is there a specific setup ?

Found the issue : video codec is x265, no issue with x264 !

This is going to be a fantastic idea. My son’s birthday is around the corner and I was thinking of adding shows by Andy Yeatman to the watch list. But, I am also happy to have come across this post because a 3D movie will make everybody very happy and excited.
