Apologies if this is a duplicate thread, but there does not appear to be any Search function.

Is there anyway to customise the pre-installed lighthouse launcher? As I have disabled the generic web browser and uninstalled the "Qodi" and have installed Chrome and Kodi Krypton, as my previous box.

But the initial web browser and Qodi are still on the home page and I cannot appear to be able to remove them or replace.

If removal or replacement is not possible is anyone using an alternative launcher?

Thanks in advance. :handshake

Thanks

I have the Nova launcher on the kids tablets, but wanted something more suitable for the TV.

After looking at the various launchers I opted for Top TV Launcher, it gives more customisable options, and has been very easy to setup

Nova Launcher is the best solution so far. There are many launchers for TV but they all look crap...

My 2 cents. So "Top TV Launcher" in my opinion is the best 3rd party launcher and very customizable. However the LightHome launcher is also better looking in my opinion. So I do have a workaround, I'm unsure the current version of LightHome Launcher that's with 311MO firmware, but if you download LightHome 1.1.1 and install it, you will get the Kodi icon back, however the downfall is that the icon for File Browser becomes unusable. I don't care much about that as I use a different program for file exploring anyways, but the Kodi icon works great this way.

To make you feel better, if you ever decide you need to reverse it, you simply go into System>Apps>LightHome and install the app that's in there (One that comes with the new firmware) Do not delete that file or you will be pooched if you want to get it back.

Hope this helped.
