I believe it should work for both, but I bricked my Ultimate reverting to the OEM firmware shortly after receiving it and so have no hardware to test that configuration.

Ask and you shall receive.  I just posted an Android TV 7.1.2 release:  http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-pla ... -rom-android-tv-7-1

Changelog (20170825):
  • Now based on TX8 Max OEM firmware (20170815), which apparently has support for both Qualcomm/Longsys and AMPAK/Broadcom wireless chipsets.
  • Some new options are available in Settings, particularly with Display and Dolby/DTS features in Sound.
  • Remote codes are no longer stored in the device tree, so Mouse Mode functionality is restored and you can customize the remote.conf.
  • Replaced Jack Palevich's Terminal Emulator with Terminal app from LineageOS, tweaking manifest so that it always shows in launcher.
  • Power button press-and-hold now shows both Power Off and Restart. Behavior for short-press is configured in Settings.
  • Latest build from Open GApps (20170825)

Known Bugs:
  • Bluetooth audio performance is basically unusable on the headphones and speakers I've tried. This needs to be fixed in underlying OEM firmware.
  • Google Cast service broadcasts and is discoverable from mobile devices, but sometimes quits unexpectedly when connected.
  • Action Bar (a.k.a. App Bar) is hidden for non-ATV apps. This is supposedly by design, but I hope to have a workaround soon.
  • The legacy Settings.apk (a.k.a. More Settings) will close in category menus because of the Action Bar issue above.

Hi Magendanz,

Thank you for all the hard work and support.

I have loaded the firmware in GT1 ultimate 3GB/32GB with serial AX12.

-firmware loaded successfully
-during first boot, after connecting to wifi network.
-it is checking for updates...... if failed it asks for network setup again.-after reloading and back and forth between wifi setup and check updates. I was able to login google account.
-finally homescreen.

-i have not installed OTA update yet.
-so far no issue is observed. IR remote which came with device is working as expected and hardware mouse also.
-i observed that TV playstore is installed.

will provide more review / report bugs.

BTW, we've confirmed that this new ROM has support for both QCA9377 (a.k.a. LTM8830) and AP6255 wireless chipsets.  And since it has device trees for three DRAM configurations (1G/2G/3G), it covers the standard and ultimate SKUs too,

Finally, one ROM for all the Beelink GT1 hardware permutations!
