dear , you may have not put your external storage device correctly , you can pay attention to this article :
http://www.bee-link.com/forum.ph ... 6orderby%3Dlastpost

the SEA1 fits for all hard disks which sata port match 2.5 inch , so you can check whether there is a mistake when you insert the hard disk , you should make sure the port can be touched the hard disk tightly with no room .good luck to you dear .:lol

HI BEELINK PEOPLE,

This is not the information I wanted.   my problem is this, I want to connect my external usb hard disk into the usb  ports, which are on the side of the sea1 unit.

my external hard disk have their own power supply, and connect via usb 3 cable.

When connected when I go into QODI the sea1 device isn't recognising my plugged in EXTERNAL usb drive.

please tell me whats the problem, and how I can fix it.

thanks
ps.......  WHAT ARE THE 2 USB PORTS FOR?

CAN I PLUG MY EXTERNAL USB HARD DISK INTO THEM ?

:'(

Hello, I think either the file system is not recognized (ntfs or encryption) or the capacity is too large to be recognized even in usb 3. Anyway on the sata port the hard disk must have a paximal capacity Of 2TO. cordially

Hello, I think either the file system is not recognized (ntfs or encryption) or the capacity is too  ...

dear, which type is your storage device ? HD or SSD ?

I suggest you to format your hard disk drive beforing inserting into the SEA1 , you may keep in mind that its storage should be within 2TB . also , you need to copy your resources to your PC if it's necessary . And you need to buy a tool to format your hard disk , like the picture shows .
(Turn the hard drive interface plate )

Looking forward your reply, thank you .

Hi,

everything above 1TB seems to need an external power supply, regardless if you connect it internally or externally.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Grissom
