Just FYI, I've incorporated this OTA update into my GT1 Stock & Nano Nexus ROMs on Freaktab. It's delivered as a AML upgrade package, so it has all images contained within and you can unpack them with the AML Customization Tool (/tmp/level1/system.PARTITION -> system.img, etc.).

sorry can you explain what you did? You put in the nexus rom the update from 110 firmware? Through aml customization tool or i understood wrong? Please provide if you want some more info.

What is this dark screen issue i keep reading about? Could it be caused by handshake issues? I've ran 107, 108 and 110 on kodi 16.1 and 17 and never had it

I also had the "system is damaged" error on v106, A912 unit.  Here is what I had to do to get it working, hope it helps someone.

- Back up all of the things.
- Reboot into recovery and clear the cache, then factory reset.
- Get the v106 firmware and install from SD card.  ref: http://www.bee-link.com/Beelink-662-1-1.html.
- After reboot the system will be at v109.  This still goes to "system is damaged".
- Factory reset again from the settings.
- After reboot, skip the wizard.
- Go to settings->about media box->system update and download the update.
- After download, choose Install Later.  It does not matter how many hours you choose.
- Hit the power button and choose reboot.
- After reboot you should be at v110.

I do not know if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me.

I think it depends on your tv .. on my LG 55UH605v I don't have it but I do get it on an older LG and on my Samsung KU6092. [with the same GT1 obviously] ... dark screen/dark playback means exactly that ... very very dark image when playing video files.

I'm starting to believe the issue might be a hdmi standard backwards compatibility issue, as my tv is a late 2016 Philips tv. Also, the box is running perfectly for me, finally after the kodi has sropped and magenta menu. Using kodi 17 and an asus bt nexus controller.

both my samsung and LG where 2016 4k models and have HDMI 2.0, but maybe they use different color depths/ color subsampling and beelink optimized differently for each output signal.... I don't really know how that works but I can tell you for sure that on the LG I experienced far less problems with the GT1 than on the samsung.. I even ended up returning the samsung even if it had a slightly better image because my main source is the GT1.

@zaf_4, my custom ROMs are based on the kernel and drivers from the official Beelink firmware releases, so when we get a new official release I need to update my ROMs to incorporate the underlying file changes. It basically just means that you should inherit any fixes introduced by Beelink.

My model is A912.
After installing the New firmware 110, the WiFi performance has been decreased and the range & strength of WiFI also reduced with frequent fluctuation of WiFi.

Is any one experience the same? or any other problems after upgrading the 110?
