The USB method requires the USB Burn Tool, and PC. This also means lot of work for a lot of folks who have downloaded and installed APPs & GAMES and customized them, and customized Android settings to their preferences. Now we have to start all fresh once again, not very pleasant procedure.

Still confused and moderated. I have g912 standard 2/16 g on Android 7.1.1 build 702NO qca9377, why isn't this an ota?

So sd did not work for you, is the update worth doing as usb? Considering all the work involved.

SD Card update works for me from 702NO to 703NO using the included update app.

How did you update with the SD card?
Reset button then power to recovery or used the update app and selected the ota zip file.

Hi minonano. It doesn't matter what method, they both work. Upgrading from Android 7x to Android 7x isn't the issue. It's only upgrading from Android 6 to Android 7 that isn't supported.

dear , there is a commom problem that all data will be cleared after updating or restoring the factory setting , the beelink included , so you may need to save your important fles into the external storage devices , like SD card , hard disk , and so on , thank you .:lol
