I have been trying out many different builds. Ive run into some issues with a particular one and dont know if its the box or the kodi build.

what are you guys using on your GT1 ..jarvis or krypton ?    what kodi fork works the best ?

I was about to sell this thing and go back to a fire stick but I really think this would work better once all the issues are fixed. I read of people with the older boxes with the S905 chips that run great finally.

is there a different way to find out serial # other than the lable that was on the box? cause I cant tell for sure if the number on my label is a 0 or a G or a Q...

it looked to me like a 0 with a slight spec on it that could be the horizontal line on a G...worst "G" I have ever seen.   so because of that I dont know if I can change the rom.

custom SPMC 16.5.0 + AutoFrameFix [search this forum] on 107 firmware for me works best.. no crashes, no dark playback or green screen, framerate and refresh rate are synced and with the mimic skin just looks gorgeous and super fast.

I should mention that I ran both kodi 16.1 and 17 for quite some time  + SPMC 16.5.5  but found out that SPMC 16.5.0 is the best  - download h**p://spmc.semperpax.com

for me there are no crashes with the smpc version that I mentioned... none ... with all the acceleration options enabled... but do turn off the enable HQ Scalers option.. runs much smoother with no visible iq loss.

I personally use SPMC on GT1 and I have no issues at all. I will try kodi 17 when it will become more stabile and supported.
