What is QODI?

I recently did an Android system update. After I did the update, the system boots up and gets to the launcher screen and after about 2 or 3 seconds, the screen goes black. I reset the box to start fresh. Since, my KODI 16.1 has changed to QODI 16.1. I have not been able to find anywhere anything about what is QODI. My launcher screen says QODI and the splash screen when I launch KODI says QODI v16.1. Once in program, so far appears to be working OK except that I now get a notification 2 or 3 times a night that says "Unfortunately Kodi has stopped working. I back out to launcher and restart QODI, and all is fine for a while. Can anyone tell me what is QODI and what is possibly causing it to "stop working"

If you go to apps, all installed in play store you will see that it states kodii 17 is installed. Click on open and it opens qodi 16.1. so assume it's the same as Jodi.

It is only a nick name for KODI in the launcher . Perhaps to avoid copyright infringement

Looks like it!s a new nickname for Kodi. I just wish they would just say Media Center and go back to grey colors in settings. Did someone just wanted to change things up, my MX Mini III II is still grey after update.

With the latest firmware, we renamed KODI as QODI.

good job beelink! it took you a few months and 9 different firmwares but finally we got what everybody was waiting for.. QODY instead of KODI.. it was well worth the wait!
