Hi,

I'm french, sorry for my english.
  Here is my problem :

I am equipped with a Yamaha Atmos audio amp. So I set the HDMI Passthrough in the GT1 audio settings. Then I uninstalled kodi V16 to put V17. So I activated the passthrough under this one and activated all the sound compatibilities and set to 7.1.
And the ben .... The audio tapes (DTS - True-HD ...) come out in PCM (2.0) except those in dolby digital 5.1 which exit correctly.
I tried in SPDIF all the same. I reset the box but nothing does. I even changed the HDMI 2.0 cable and changed input on my amp.

Someone has an idea?

  Thanks so much

With V16 I have the same problem, except I read on other forums that some read trouble-free DTS and atmos.

can you try using SPMC 16.5.5

SPMC Settings

Enable 'expert' in the settings menu. Then, make the following changes:

Audio output device = Android, RAW Passthrough
Number of channels = 7.1 [your receiver should be able to handle this input regardless of your actual speaker configuration]
Output configuration = Best Match
Stereo upmix = off
Maintain original volume on downmix = on
Boost centre channel when downmixing = 0 dB
Resample quality = High
Keep audio devices alive = 10 Minutes [this will prevent your AVR from going to sleep]
Enable audio DSP processing = off
Enable passthrough = on
Passthrough output device = Android, RAW Passthrough
Check your AVR receiver's user manual to confirm that it supports each of the following audio codecs and enable them accordingly:

Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver = on
Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC) capable receiver = on
DTS capable receiver = on
TrueHD capable receiver = on
DTS-HD capable receiver = on
MINI MXIII (died), MINI MXIII II, GT1, SEA I, MINIX U1

Thanks for the answer.
I installed SPMC, I respected the configuration you made me, but I have exactly the same problem.
I really feel that it is the case that does not untwist the passthrough.
Yet in the audio setup of the case I put HDMI passthrough well.
With other box my amp works very well so the problem does not come from there.

I'm also having this problem with GT King.
Any solution?
I have a collection of 5.1 music albums which I cannot play properly with this device (the output is just stereo).
If I play a DTS mp4 movie file it plays fine, but not 5.1 AAC / PCM / FLAC audio files.
