Can't do a factory reset

Hi guys. I was trying To update my GT1 to the latest firmware and it freezes up after downloading the update, when it is going to reboot.

Given I had this problem, i decided I should do a factory reset. However, when i click on it to "erase everything", nothing happens!! Its like I didnt click on anything: no messages, nothing! Im currently on FW 107.
Any help?

did you take out all the USB drives and SD cards before doing the update?

Yes I did. I tried everything. The only thing that worked was hard reset To recovery mode, wipe evtg and then update to 109.

Having the same problem with A912 with 106 let me find that "hard reset" procedure and I'll gic=ve it a go since the software reset not working.
