Ubuntu with disabled c6 state works fine, so it would be possible to fix in bios

Windows seems to be stable after disabling core parking, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFz8HRk4WfI
only instead of setting max to 0, set both min and max to 100
Check resource monitor afterwards.

Definitely should be simple bios fix

Updating the BIOS won't fix the problem, so we suggest you send it back for a replacement if you want to use dual RAM.
