Note that these new 64-bit Nougat firmware releases are NOT compatible with my latest TWRP 3.1.1-0 Recovery build for the Amlogic q201 reference board (which has worked well so far on both Beelink GT1 standard and ultimate). On GT1_702N0, it just hangs after the spash logo.
Since the hardware is unchanged and the recovery partition contains its own kernel, I believe there's something in the new bootloader that won't hand off to TWRP recovery. I'm continuing to investigate, but would appreciate an assist from Beelink engineering.
Until we get a functional TWRP recovery, there probably won't be any 64-bit Android TV 7.1 builds for this these Amlogic devices. |
