I tried again to capture wifi compared to the Xiaomi Mi Box 3rd Pro / Enhanced, is with identical values, and higher than MiniMxIII (which was already excellent) and the brand new Mini M8S II.

Compared to the image quality remains excellent, as he had seen in May when I bought the MiniMxIII, the image is higher than the M8 Mini S II and with the same quality Xiaomi Mi Box 3rd Pro / Enhanced.

Yes i do a lot of try and all online video (Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Streaming) show only 1080p

I didn't find the HDMI CEC option

I'm agree with afquintans the image quality remains excellent

Hope we can have Youtube and Netflix on 4K soon

GT1 ordered yesterday, my next box after MiniMX.
I hope I will enjoy it.

Hi,

I received 2 of these boxes earlier this week and I am very impressed. My only issue is when downloading torrents It seems to peak at 8-9mbit/s and sustains around 5-6mbit/s. I tried using different torrent applications as well as external SSD in-case it was write speed bottleneck. Performing an internet speedtest results in 30mbit/s, so I don't think it's network bottleneck either.

What would be the bottleneck?

First of all thanks a lot for the box you sent by DHL ! I'm really really impressed with this box

Some things need to be improved (for example root by default the firmware as you did with Beelink Mini MX III, IR remote seems to be less reactive than the one in mini mx III) then the box will be PERFECT!
Packaging is really well done (quality) and the box itself as well (solid plastic)

Great price, great size, great performance => it should "rock" on the market of android boxes

Performances are really good, I've tested different things :
- Kodi playback with X265 files, 1080p, etc.., installation of addons
- IPTV
- Games (Rayman, Asphalt 8, Emulators)
- Great Wifi connection with AC
- RJ45 1Gb is an advantage compared to others

Just some questions :
- as others noticed, even if I set the box to 4k, Kodi just see the screen resolution to 1080p (i've checked in mini mx III and in mini mx III it's set to 4k so it must be a firmware problem, will this be fixed ?)
- i've tried to connect Xbox 360 controller to play, it works fine but sometimes it hangs the "light menu"
- do you know if there will be an ota to bring "root" mode to the GT1 ?
- do you plan to implement fix for HDMI/Spdif passthrough (it seems a workaround has already been found)
