Hi Darkstar,
Thanks for the for the guides on installing Firefox 80 from the Debian Sid branch of packages. I performed the steps you have listed and Firefox 80.0.1 did install in Debian but I cannot launch it from the Application Menu or from the Application Finder. When I click of Firefox Icon in the Application Menu, Firefox doesn't startup and in Application Finder same thing, Firefox won't startup.
Added " deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian sid main " to the bottom /etc/apt/sources.list
apt update
apt install firefox
Below is the results:
beelink@Beelink:~$ sudo apt install firefox
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
gcc-8-base:armhf libasan5 libc-dev-bin libcc1-0 libgcc1:armhf libitm1
liblsan0 libtsan0 libubsan1 linux-libc-dev
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
Suggested packages:
fonts-stix | otf-stix fonts-lmodern
The following NEW packages will be installed:
firefox
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 3 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/52.4 MB of archives.
After this operation, 201 MB of additional disk space will be used.

beelink@Beelink:~$
Installation was successful as far as I can tell from the above but Firefox 80.0.1-1 just won't startup when you launch it.
I have deleted the beelink@Beelink:~$ sudo apt install firefox

Is there another step or steps that I need to perform in order to be able to launch Firefox? I can see the Firefox Icon in the Application Menu, so near yet so far.I have deleted " deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian sid main " from the /etc/apt/sources.list to be safe for now.
Appreciate your guidance.
Best Rgds
