I have the SER6 Pro 6800H . My fans are silent unless stressed. BIOS Version 1.09 had the worst fan noise even at idle. Then they released the EC FW Version 1.11 update and the fan curve was better but temps were not improved. BIOS version 1.11 was just for 8GB VRAM option. BIOS version 1.13 was probably intended for SER6 Pro+ users but it is also is working for SER6 Pro users. If you are using the 1.13 BIOS make sure your EC FW Version is also 1.15.01. That is the fan curve instructions. If you still can't get it to quiet down just flash back to EC FW Version 1.11 found in the support/drivers download section.
Also, make sure you selected 45W Power limit in the bios. I changed mine right away so I don't know what would happen if you select 35W. Maybe it would lower the max power and change the fan curve to keep it at a lower temp. Who knows?
