Hi, I have succeffully installed the new 921P0 firmware for B922 using sd-card. I can confirm that it resolved also other problems like the Lighthome crash after installing Discovery+ app. It also introduces little changes like the possibility to set Droid Settings->Power key definition->options. In this way when the power button is pressed GT-King shows a new power menu with the three options shutdown, sleep and restart

This is the firmware page where there are all versions (clik "open" at the bottom of the page). There are also instructions to install it from USB or SD-Card

Does it support 64bit apps?

Hi, I think no. GT king has a 64bit processor but Android implementation is 32 bit. See picture attached

As somone who was tricked into using the OTA update then having to reset my box, it was with some trepidation that I did an SD card update to 921PO this morning.
After a few heart-stopping moments when the screen went blank and a few boot-up loops...SUCCESS!

Hi Friends/Beelink,

I upgraded my GT King (B922) model to 921PO using the SD Card method and after the update the Lighthome is showing weather correctly.

But i am having the following issues:

1. Occasionally when i boot the box, sometimes the WiFi works and if it doesn't i press and hold the power button on remote to select shutdown/restart but the box is struct in either shutting down or restarting and i have to manually pull the plug to remove the power and plug back in. Does anyone else have random WiFi not working issue after the update ?

2. Sound is little low compared to the previous update. I am currently using Loudly app to boost the volume.

Kindly advise what could be the issue and help me resolve the above.

The best alternative for firmware is slimbox Pie or ATV. They have versions for GT King, King PRo and King X.

After i try i don´t go back for oficial.

Thanks for the suggestion. The "problem" with GT-King is that there are a lot of different versions :-( See this post. I have the B922X version.
I don't know if for the slimbox it's important only the difference between DDR4 and LPDDR4.
