In settings/HDMI/Audio Effect there is a option for AAC to be turned on, what is this.

AAC is an audio format jointly developed by Fraunhofer IIS-A, Dolby and AT&T. It is part of the MPEG-2 specification. The algorithm used by AAC is different from that of MP3. AAC combines other functions to improve coding efficiency. AAC's audio algorithm far exceeds some previous compression algorithms (such as MP3, etc.) in compression capabilities. It also supports up to 48 audio tracks, 15 low-frequency audio tracks, more sample rates and bit rates, multi-language compatibility, and higher decoding efficiency. In short, AAC can provide better sound quality while being 30% smaller than MP3 files.

I update to 912P0 and the sound passthrough but only in PCM.

I test VLC, MX Player and KODI.

Please help me to solve this issue

Hello

After several hour's testing .... I install the 960P0 firmware.

The wireless update sak to upadate to a new Buid.... 907P0 .... 909P0 to 910P0 (2020-8-10).

Now all was OK.

HIFISOUND, output via headphones to AV Receiver ( FLFC, DSD, AAC and MP3).

Digital Sound ( Dolby Digital and so one).

So for now I have everything work so well.

I installed the 906 not 960 (I typed the wrong one, now the firmeware is (GT KingPro's 912P0_wol).

I only use to Dolby Digital 5.1 (because my receiver only decode DD or DTS).

All audio passthrough is pcm audio so no dolby digital or dts

I am currently on firmware 913P0_wol
