I can get the SER5 to display in the correct 1360x786 resolution if I UNPLUG the monitor, the Plug it back in, turn it on, wait for "HDMI 1" to appear on screen, and then power up the SER5.
It changes to 640x480 if I turn off the monitor and then turn it back on (SER5 powered on the whole time)
or if I switch the monitor to "HDMI 2" and then back to "HDMI 1"
So basically I have to disable sleep mode and leave the monitor on all day, or else Unplug and reboot every time I walk away from my desk. This is silly.
This monitor and same HDMI port works fine with windows 10 and my old computer. |
