You don't know what the problem.
You don't post any video proof.
I also can say that the box is fr ...

Sounds and looks kinda weird.

My box plays 4k pretty okay.

both runs smooth without AMLOGIC Codec, how does your play those two files.

And how are the files you are trying to play encoded?

Don't know what the problem is but I do know with amcodec disabled in both spmc and kodi I get no fr ...

It depends on the frame rate. 23.97 no frame drops & no skipped frames with amcodec disabled in kodi. 25 fps I get frame drops with amcodec disabled and skipped frames with amcodec enabled. [HDMI adaptation on in box, off in Kodi seems to work best for reducing skipped frames]

Unfutunartly is too slow. I test it with dimifrology last and broked also the live tv on real kodi !!!
I think, better to install only that fork maybe helps. I don't know. I try to fix the slow response with many ways, but still remain.
Why you don't make a real kodi app like this? Why we must install that fork? If you see for exable on ares wizard, they have tools for the memory and others.. all are for kodi and not for the forks.... :(

Please, don't post messages like "everything is ok" or "plays well".
I'm pretty well that you're happy with your device.
But, there are so many videos and streams and special cases that you cannot test well.
This build is for people that have problem and they understand that they have a problem.
This box has HLS interlacing problem with hardware decoding.
A difference between playback is clear by two videos:
Video 1: Beelink GT1 - Kodi with AMLOGIC decoding
Video 2: Beelink GT1 - MX Player hardware decoding. Strobe effect.
This SPMC build has workaround for crash which happens on first video which played jerky if no amlogic used.
