When you refer to using chromium-beta ppa, are your refering to https://launchpad.net/~chromium- ... ntu/beta/+packages?
It has latest 96.0.4664.35-0ubuntu0.18.04 for Ubuntu 18.04.  Will it work on Impish?

Thanks. I also use this ppa where I downloaded chromium-browser - 1:91.0.4472.27-0ubuntu1~ppa3~20.10.1 and it works including "Translation".

I did try the earlier focal version works except the "Translation" does not work.

Are you able to get this chromium-browser - 1:94.0.4606.31-0ubuntu1~ppa2~20.04.1 to work?

Just an update.  Downloaded chromium-browser_95.0.4638.69-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_arm64.deb , chromium-browser-l10n_95.0.4638.69-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_all.deb and chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra_95.0.4638.69-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_arm64.deb from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+so ... 69-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 Installed successfully on Ubuntu-Impish-5.15.1-darkstar and works.  Using Chromium maninly for "Webpage Translate" function.  Vivaldi-arm64 version webpage translate doesn't seems to work properly or not at all or don't know how to get it to work.  It plays Youtube 1080p/30 well with reasonable CPU resources.

Ubuntu-Impish-5.15.1-darkstar running smoothly and stable.  Thanks @darkstar for releasing new kernel for this image.

Hi @darkstar,

Just a feedback on Ubuntu-Impish-5.15.1-darkstar.  Just encountered the first kernel panic during booting process.  This is around 1 kernel panic out of around 15 successful boot up.  Will continue to monitor and feedback.  So far NO kernel panic/total system freeze once successful boot up.

I think 5.14.15 works better, which is included in this image as default kernel.
Each kernels first release versions are not stabe as 5.x.10 or above.
