Dual boot SD card for NOT new buyers

It will not reset your Android configuration. It just allows you to boot from the tf card. When you remove the tf card during booting then it will boot into android.

Ok, finally I managed start with CoreElec, and it works nice. Now, every time that I turn on the box I have CoreElec. And for to go to Android SO from CoreElec I should go to power button at the screen and choose the "reset from mmc memory" option. It's not easy nor fast when that you want is to use use Android... There is not a better way to choose your SO from the very first beginning?

Yes. Every time you want to boot into android then you just need to remove the sd card. When you want to run coreelec to just insert the sdcard before you power on the device.

It's not a good way for me because two reasons: I'm using the SD card to store some files that I need in Android, and because at GT King is not easy to put on and off the micro SD card.

Maybe I'll try installing CoreElec at an USB stick.

By the other way, I'm experimenting that CoreElec is really amazing playing recorded videos (why Beelink couldn't give the same performing with Android and same hardware???), but I'm having a lot of problems to use CoreElec with add-ons for streaming... Plus a lot of hangings, plus problems with WiFi, plus IR remote dont working...

I'm not sure yet if it's me or CoreElec.

You can insert the sd card after you start android. So you can use sd card storage.

If there is a lot of lag in streaming then it means your sd card is very slow. To run CoreElec from external Media make sure you have high speed device SD-Card or USB Stick.

Finally I'd managed to install CoreElec at a 64 Gb USB 3.1 drive, leaving SD card just for stocking. And now it works really fine and fast. The video quality is quite better that Kodi under Android.

Now I'm trying to solve IR command issue, because it doesn't work when CoreElec is running. I know, I can use a RF command, but I need IR command too because I'll like use an universal one that controls all my devices with just one command.
Any idea to fix the IR command issue under CoreElec?

I did it! I'd found a really helping tutorial and now my IR remote is full operative in both CoreElec and Android. I'd take a Beelink GT1 Ultimate remote as a model.
