Usually it's pretty instance. If the audio is working, and the speakers are turned on and up so you can hear. Just a quick tap then you hear the PC sound indicating USB device being detected.

Chomee, helped me to Identify the points to short circuit and I managed to unbrick my GT1!

He has a board that seem newer than yours but it is more similar.

As many has pointed out before me, this is risky business... you may damage your hardware if done incorrectly.

@Zyxious I've short pinned the card and now it is recognised by my PC. But no matter how many times and so many different image files I've tried I keep getting error message.

What do these error codes refer to, anyone has any idea? I couldn't find anything on the internet about these.
