You cannot install SSDs with heatshinks attached unless these heatsinks are thin layered, do not waste your money and get an SSD with a heatsink.

The SER7 has an integrated heatsink and a thermal pad. And please do not buy any crappy SSDs, the SSD you would like to purchase should be at least PCIe 4.0 (not the slower PCIe 3.0 ones), if you are looking for a very good upgrade, consider Lexar NM790 or Kingston ones, also a very good choice would be the WD SN770 series or SN850x.

Hello there,
Thank you for your sharing,if the SSD is good,there is no need to add the heatsink.
