Hello there,

Thanks for your letter and sorry for the late reply.

I installed Windows 10 pro and installed all the necessary drivers.
I am using the power supply(19V/3.42A) included by default in the box of beelink eq12.
Can a beelink engineer test Ugreen products in the lab to see if they work with the front USB port?

Hello, can you change another USB cable to have a test?
And our R&D colleague will help you test this issue tomorrow.
Please wait for one or two days, thanks for your patience in advance.

Hello there,

Our R&D personel has done the test with the Ugreen, and we find that for the EQ12 N100, there is USB port can detect the Ugreen, so there is an incompatibility problem, sorry.
But you have the rear USB port can have a use, right? so it will not impact you use the Ugreen.

Thanks for our understanding in advance, have a nice day!

Very disappointing. I can't understand how the product was released in an incomplete state.
I would have been more convinced if both the front and rear USB ports had not worked.
Is there any possibility that it will be resolved with a BIOS update in the future?

So sorry, I have asked our R&D colleagues, there is no BIOS can solve this incompatibility issue.
And maybe you can use your rear usb port to connect your Ugreen machine.

Thanks for your understanding and patience in advance, have a nice day!

By chance, I found out what the problem was. This is not an incompatibility issue. Beelink's USB Port is not providing enough current. When I connected the Ugreen SSD enclosure to a USB hub with external power, the device was recognized correctly.
Beelink advertises that the EQ12 supports USB 3.2 x3, but I think it doesn't follow the standard. Also, I found a few threads complaining of USB problems like me. What does beelink think about this?

It is a 1TB SSD. I inserted Samsung 870 evo 1TB ssd into Ugreen SSD enclosure. According to the specifications of Samsung 870 evo 1TB SSD, the device consumes 5.5W of power. If the USB 3.2 port meets the standard, it should supply 7.5 W of power, but the USB 3.2 port on the Beelink EQ12 does not supply enough power.

You can try belowing method.

Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager---universal serial bus controller--USB hub---properties--power management---uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power"
