I had this same issue, but it presented itself by the ethernet connection failing upon Windows restart or login from a shutdown state. As a result, I could immediately tell if a BIOS fix would work or not by seeing if the ethernet connection stayed up during Windows login.
Same as @skfisher reported, the BIOS update resolved this issue. For my system, I went from V19 to V23. Also, same as @skfisher, steps 5/6 in the Beelink instructions were not needed because the it automatically started installing after booting from USB. Process took only around 5 min, instead of the 10 reported, but that's likely due to varying USB drive speeds.
After the BIOS finishes installation, do step 8 same as the instructions (type 'exit', press enter). Then if you boot Windows from there, the issue will be fixed BUT your BIOS will still show as the old version. Restart Windows again to resolve.
At least for me, Beelink support was great and always responded promptly. I am very impressed with them, and since this is my first Beelink purchase, they've earned a new customer and advocate. |
