I think ItsMe57 is saying that to get bluetooth working on Ubuntu, one needs to create two symlinks which are like shortcuts to use a windows term. On an up-to-date distro like Arch, this is not needed.
@ItsMe57 - you might want to provide the full path to the files as well as the Ubuntu version for others coming across your fix.
For reference, on Arch (linux-firmware 20231212.f2e52a1c-1):
- % pacman -Ql linux-firmware | grep ibt-1040-4150
- linux-firmware /usr/lib/firmware/intel/ibt-1040-4150.ddc.zst
- linux-firmware /usr/lib/firmware/intel/ibt-1040-4150.sfi.zst
- % pacman -Ql linux-firmware | grep ibt-0040-1050
- linux-firmware /usr/lib/firmware/intel/ibt-0040-1050.ddc.zst
- linux-firmware /usr/lib/firmware/intel/ibt-0040-1050.sfi.zst
