Funny Beelink support saying Linux is not suitable for the Mini S12 but yet they advertise for it is on Amazon for you to buy.

How did you install Ubuntu on the Mini S12?
On my S12 Pro I only get a black screen with a frozen cursor when booting from a USB-Stick. And this all before the installation setup (22.04.3 LTS) even starts.

My UEFI version is ADLNV104. I did not found one that is newer.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi, have you tried to wait for little bit longer? Based on my experience, booting Ubuntu took much longer than other distros. I have installed Ubuntu 23.10, where 2.4 GHz wifi works, but not 5 GHz nor BT (kernel v6.5).

I would also try to disable secure boot or burn image with different app.

I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 Lts

Yes, I did wait longer several times. Once I let the system operate over night. The screen had not changed the next day.

I have tried both balenaEtcher and Rufus. Will try different approaches in the next days.
Secure boot is disabled as well as QuietBoot and FastBoot (both in Windows and UEFI). I have tried different Ubuntu versions as well (including 23.10).

Sadly, the outcome is always the same. I´m really not sure, what I do wrong.
Maybe I should also mention that I upgraded my Mini from 16 to 32 GB (officially not supported by the N100, but never had problems with it) and I put in a second SSD as well (512 GB, I plan to install Ubuntu on this partition). Besides these changes, I have no idea why my Mini S12 Pro could behave differently than those of others.
