Already tried with no sucess. I tested the USB4 port with other 3.2 USB devices like a external m.2 ssd and works fine. What I don´t understand is when I connect the thunderbolt cable, it doesen´t even makes the sound of plugging a external device. The system does nothing..

I don´t know if it is relevant for the topic, but the mini pc is running windows 11 22h2.

Edit: Did a clean installation for windows 10, it is the same behaviour.. not a single sound connecting the thunderbolt cable, no device recognized.

I was having the same problem with one of the usb ports, not particularly the usb4/thunderbolt, but a usb port nevertheless, it wouldn't recognize any external drive I'd connect to it, no sound, nothing. I tried so many things to no avail, even changing OS as well. But one day it just worked.. so I don't know what did fix it, well partially because I still have problems of ports being disconnected. I've been having problems with them since day one, they keep disconnecting about 30 times a day, it's really annoying as it also disconnects the WiF and Bluetooth with it. Also, if you touch the USB ports you can feel they get HOT.. so my guess is that this PC's are just not well designed, poor engineering, that's it.

Try uninstalling all the USB drivers in Device Manager and reboot. They will be reinstalled automatically.

Looks like all drivers installed. I tried to install both geforce experience and drivers but it says ...

In Device Manager, click View, and check Show hidden devices. Then look under Display Adapters and USB for hidden drivers like nvidia display drivers, thunderbolt 3 Device Router, etc., and uninstall them. When you plug the usb device in they will reinstall if needed.

Maybe your thunderbolt device is incompatible with this machine.

In Device Manager, click View, and check Show hidden devices. Then look under Display Adapters and ...

Did it but not found any missing drivers.. I deleted both and did a refresh. They appear again with same info..

The only ones tagged as "other devices" are marked in yellow. "Dispositivo desconhecido" means unknow device in portuguese..

Hey there,

Not sure if this will be any help.
I got my egpu to work by using a thunderbolt 3 cable (thunderbolt 4 would just provide power and nothing else), having the HDMI plugged into the PC and then after it boots into windows I unplug the HDMI from the PC and put it in the egpu.
