I don't think it will, I doubt that adapter would know nvme ssd. I think only sata m.2 works in it.

Oh, I understand what you talk about!!! So an nvme ssd will not work in the SATA3 slot if it is in a sata-nvme adapter because the mainboard will not recognize as a nvme ssd?

Nope they are 2 different protocols, you need an external rack that knows both, or 2 racks, one with sata3 and one with nvme.

i having the same issue and I am using SSK m.2. ssd enclosure which supports NVME and Sata. The clone did not work and now the SER box does not recognized the samsung ssd. This is a painful upgrade.
