Hi, any updates on this? I have tried manjaro, linux mint, fedora, mx linux and kde neon. They all present same problem, no wifi card after suspend.

Is there any particular option that we need to enable in the BIOS in order to have a fully functionable Linux system?

Thanks

Oops! I was new when I replied to your e-mail. I have the GTR5 5900HX not a SERx machine. Anyhow, my script works on/off (more off than on)... I am following a forum on StackExchange and someone is getting close to a solution. I will post the solution as soon as possible. Thanks!

No worries I had also seen that solution on  StackExchange, this is why I knew it wouldn't work.

It is clear that problem is with the BIOS and this custom motherboard because no one seems to be reporting the same with other systems, I guess it is related with the firmware of the motherboard.

I changed CSM compatibility support on bios and now sometimes it wakes up with wifi enabled but most of the times after deep sleep it doesn't wake up at all and fans go full spin like crazy.

Let's hope a new BIOS will address this issue.

I'm also seeing the same thing on my SER5. Do you happen to have a link to the StackExchange solution (that doesn't work) so I can track progress over there as well?

Also, does anyone know if the SER4/SEi11 also have the same issue?

Thanks a lot!

As far as I know there is no solution so far, It's not linux problem but firmware from this custom motherboard so I guess we have to wait for a new bios update if that happens...

Im having the same problem here. I spent hours searching on manjaro/ubuntu foruns and nothing works. I wrote to Beelink... Im cosidering return the PC. I think it is very disapointing.
I also adress the same question: does anyone know if the SER4/SEi11 also have the same issue?
Is it difficult to install a new BIOS?
tks

I created a simple /etc/pm/config.d/config containing

HOOK_BLACKLIST="wireless"
SUSPEND_MODULES="mt7921e"

and it automatically unload the module before sleeping, and reload it at wakeup. I'm using linux for months on my SER5 and it sleeps every night without problem.

It's not a BIOS problem, this wifi chipset is very new and linux support it since 5.1x or something and not without issue as you can see.

SER5 5600H 32/500 - MX Linux
