Gt King 5.1 Problems

The beelink contributors keep asking for your model type so that they can help you. I use VLC set to passthrough and my AV receiver gets multi-channel (5.1) without a problem through the SPDIF connection.

B922HQAF90137 is the serial number

Please advice what to do next.
I want to update witout loosing any apps. (Please tell the right method here)

Also my problem is no 5.1 via HDMI on ANDROID OS.

If I Go in settings and search for new updates, it says that i already have the latest.

What container (.mp4, .mkv etc.) and what codecs are in them (DTS, AC3...)? Have you been able to play the same files previously through optical cable to that receiver?

Well this has worked flawlessly on hdmi before the 2nd last update...

mainly DTS Mp4
and yes previously optical was also giving 5.1

When you are using kod and use hdmi amplifier equipment, is there no audio option that can be selected in the audio passthrough option?

Have you been through the instructions listed on the wiki for Kodi? The 2.0 speakers setting is for the times when you aren't passing through the audio stream but instead, using Kodi's audio decoder to translate the number of channels and downmix from 5.1/7.1.

I am not using Kodi.
Only VLC with Android. and this was working prior to the last to updates.

Before under settings for sound i had DTS, DTS HD ETC. to choose
Now they are gone an replaced.
