I have been testing this GS King X for a few days now.  One of the biggest issues is that using this box as a NAS is not good since the transfer speed is sooooo slow.  I installed this samba server (LAN drive - SAMBA Server & Client), but the Ethernet speeds are too slow.

i have also noticed the slowness of SMB but it is better you open a new thread for this issue
with some tests if possible

I have tried with samba and it is slow due to samba configuration.
So now I have Manjaro ARM Linux installed and I tried scp to transfer and I can go above 27Mib/s this is only achievable with 1Gb Lan link as before I tested it with 100mb and it can only reach 12Mbi/s which is the limit for 100mb/s lan.

Please check the lan connection on both the devices GS King X as well as the device which is sending/receiving the file, both should be having 1Gb lan connectivity.
@clarkss12 and @CastagnaIT Please share the transfer speed for clear understanding.

Transfer speed is around 23 to 24 MBs using the "Landrive" app.
Using just the drive, the speed is less than 1 MBs.........
So, If I try to tranfer files to and from the camer uploads folder, i get less than 1 MBs speed.  If I transfer the same file/s using the LANdrive I get 23/24 MBs speed.
