Only Just A Speculation:
They had parts delays/shortcums. Like the s/n S922 and B922 configs. I bet parts of 95X2 comes from GT Mini (S905x2) stock/inventory. It is not that I am angry, at least parts (on my unit) comes from tested ones. Manufacturers tend to do this (to meet demands/save costs etc.) as long it is in specs. Of which in my opinion (w/ regards to my unit) it is.

My GT-King also starts with the serial number 95X  but since it doesn't start with a B, then I am going to assume the firmware needed is the 922X since both have 9 and X with no B anywhere in the serial number.  Logic leans towards the 922X firmware which I am going to download and install.  I will keep you posted as to the results.
P.S.   I would advise a reset to factory settings BEFORE the firmware upgrade.

I do suggest you do a "Wireless Update" (OTA) instead under the System Menu.

Got the latest firmware from that route. No hassles.

I have 2- Gt King units, one has the 922x serial # printed on a tag glued to the bottom and the other has 95x serial # on a similar tag glued in the same spot on its underside bottom.  Question : Do both boxes use the 922x firmware upgrade ?

Sorry, I asked the person in charge of the factory. He said that because a worker did not pay attention to the S/N code at the bottom of the post, some GT-King was attached to the S/N code of the GT1 mini. We are sorry, but this does not affect the use, still use the S992X SOC, you can also download the AIDA64 APK in the attachment, use AIDA64 to detect the hardware information.
