This happen also to my device. I resolved the FC of Google Play when I clean the cache and data of the App.
Directions:
Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage (empty the cache and data)

Looking around on this Forum I found a Frank's post where he speaking how manually update the Google Play Store on GT1*.

Step 1: make Backup File form :system/priv-app/phonesky/phonesky.apk < that is Google Play Store
Step 2: rename your Download Apk form (for example) Google Play Store 7.4.09.L-all [0] [PR] 143719094.apk in phonesky.apk
Step 3:Copy the Rename File to system/priv-app/phonesky/
Step 4:Set permissions to rw-r- r for File phonesky.apk
Last Step: Reboot System... It works i did on my gt1 ultimate... Download the Google play Store from. Apkmirror

Serial Number = A912**** - board with chipset WiFi 6255 (AP6255)
Follow the link of the first post you find a sharepoint directory that list this file: GT1_111M0_AP6255.img

After update Google Play Store with the explained Frank's procedure the App works correctly.

Yes, Root Explorer app; installing it using Google Play Store. Play Store works also if sometime stop working (FC: Force Close)
With Root Explorer you can browser system files and directories, Copy/Delete etc.

Lot of confusion by smason, even for himself or herself. It is all speculation and nothing officially offered for viable answer to any of our questions over the board about the Beelink GT1 A912 boxes and what we are suppose to be upgrading to. Currently GT1_110M0 (2017-02-13) is installed, nothing else coming through System updates. This box is riddled with issues also, a type of WiFi issue, and Google Play Store constantly appearing with has stopped message.
