For those A912 owners out there, I've got the AP6255 update ready for beta testing now. Please PM me if you're interested in trying it out. (Note that it should work on any ROMs based on the GT1_109M0 build. However, it replaces the kernel and so some of Super Celeron's tweaks might be lost.)
The first build of the TVStock variant was posted today on FreakTab, based on the Beelink GT1_110M0 firmware. It's still a little rough around the edges, but the basic Android TV browser and Play Store are there and you can install Kobi (or your favorite rebranded code branch). I'd appreciate anyone willing to help me identify and track down issues.
Are the Google Play Store and Google Music apps are for TV that you can use remote to navigate? These google apps on Mi Box are for TV and I like them, but on current GT1, they seem for tablet.
Yes, on this ROM the Play Store and all the apps that ship with the Nexus Player are Android TV versions. You can sideload regular tablet apps (as I've done with Chrome, CM File Manager and Terminal Emulator) and those will show up in the App Drawer.
