I think that it would be useful for a dedicated discussion forum be created so that folk can share thoughts, opinions, and now that they are being sent out, feedback from those that will be reviewing.

Good to see some feedback.

When you say that wifi 2.4/5ghz max speed 30/10mbps, are you saying that 2.4Ghz is faster than 5Ghz?

I would expect just about any fork of Kodi to use the same folder structure. The only exception that I know of is SPMC, that can be installed in combination with Kodi and other forks.

Does the Qodi version have any specific SOC hardware acceleration codec and is it a fork of Jarvis or Krypton?

Any chance of running an Antutu benchmark to see what the score is in comparison to other SOC's?

Youtube 4k playback is a real positive.

When you talk of no multi-tasking, are you referring to multi-window?

Have you tried screen capture using the PrtSc key on the keyboard?

I confess never to have thought about using a keyboard for screen capture as there tends to be an on screen capture icon or use an app but useful if it can be achieved via a key.

80C is rather hot for use that is not SOC intensive.

Look forward to hearing more from your experiences.

Hi khalid,
Thank you for your preliminary review!   :-)

My thoughts:
-cannot install kodi 17(need to uninstall QODI)
- That is not really a con - Qodi is only a nickname to Kodi, It is therefore clear you can not install the same app twice.

-no multitasking
- What do you mean by that?
No split screen
OR
When you switch from app to app then the previous one is not kept in the memory?

tempreture 75C
when reach 80C box start to freeze
- Now, this is a real isue.

Thanks again!  :-)

Thanks for the screenshots.

Seeing a Minix launcher was a surprise, although it does seem to be one of the more popular ones out there.

I'm guessing that as Qodi is using the standard Mediacodec codecs that the API rules are being followed, which should mean a smooth Krypton experience for those that wish to use it.
