Beelink GT1 106_MO Firmware Discussion Thread

HI guys, i've just updated the tv box from 104 firmware to 106 and the tv box don't stop to blink. It's imposible to use it.

Any ideas???

trookam what do you mean by "blink"? That it goes Green/Pink every once in a while or something else?

Unfortunately, after upgrade to 106_MO i have gotten a problem with "DayDream/photo frame". Generelly i use this function. Now it are working only two mode "clock and color". Fix it please...

definitely much better firmware than other ones i have noticed that syncing for account google etc an downloads some times don't work or are very slow where they seem to work fine on wifi , Ethernet isnt behaving the same as wifi in regards to sync of accounts downloads an have noticed the odd app crash aswell

With blink i mean blink. The screen its blinking continuos and some time blink with Green bars on the sceen

beelink avoid the 105 ota to fix some problem and you upload other OTA that have more bugs!!!!! It's unbelievable... The tv box it's completely imposible to use

UPDATE (October 27, 2016):

As I was just about to downgrade my firmware to 104M0, I decided to run my HDHomeRun (green) VIEW app one more time to check out the pixilation I encountered after upgrading the firmware to 106M0.

To my pleasant surprise, the pixilation had disappeared and everything was working fine again.

I don't know what happened, maybe the number of reboots I did after installing firmware 106M0, but I am now feeling good about my GT1 and can recommend it to members of the SiliconDust community (and have on their forum).:)

Dear all,
I just bought "Beelink GT1 TV Box Amlogic S912 Octa Core Android 6.0 2.4G/5.8G Dual WiFi 2G/16G" online and received this unit yesterday and I was very excited till I notice several problems. I have been upgrading the firmware using the auto update app, however I am not sure what version it is now. The several problems is as below...

1. wifi speed. I downloaded a wifi speediest and it shows a DL speed of 4MB and upload of 8MB. Whereas on my pc its DL speed 32MB and upload 8MB.
2. Dark screen. Yes watching all movies gives me a dark screen whether on iflix or any other channels. However I don't have such problems with CNN and sports channels.
3. I tried playing downloaded movies from a USB drive using VLC, the movies worked but NO SOUND.

Can someone please help me. Oh by the way how and where do I find firmware 106? I am a newbie on Android box.
