Is the Windows 11 license in the BIOS or embedded in the stock SER6 install image?
I'm cloning my old PC (Win10 pro) to the SER6.
If I ever rebuild the SER6 MAX to new / stock, will the Win11 license work automatically / without needing to know the license code? Assuming I install Beelink's Win11 image (downloading this now)?
"embedded in the system" means which ...
a) in SER6 MAX BIOS
or
b) in the Win11 OS image Beelink provides?
If I install a Win10 image which I own the license, can I later change to the Beelink Win11 image and use the Win11 image license that came with the SER6 MAX?
I replied you earlier that windows activated automatically, so is in BIOS. Also, if you have Win 11 license, you can downgrade to Windows 10 and it will activate with same license. I hope this helps.
The Windows 11 license is not embedded directly in the computer's BIOS or in the original SER6 installation image. Instead, Windows 11 licenses are managed through a Microsoft software activation mechanism.
