I just recently bought a SER6 Pro 7735HS with 1.13 firmware.

May idle temps hover 73-92 celsius. Is this normal? I only have Chrome and a few tabs open.

It still hitting 92C as high, but I am seeing low 47C as minimum unlike before it was 35W on Power. ...

Hello, I don't think you need to replace paste now that system is acting good. Those 92C spikes are nothing to worry about, I have them too after I replaced paste, is normal, the system is not running at 92C, maybe 1-2 seconds. This CPU has a TJMax of 95C and cooling system is running good, those spikes are hit before vents rotate faster. Just make sure you set 45W in BIOS and system will function properly.

Yes, is normal, these CPU's run hotter than desktop CPU's and 92C is only a spike, doesn't run constantly at 92C. You can change the thermal compound, which is low quality and prolly is solid now, I did it and I have around 75C averages with game on 24/7 + a bunch of browsers and software. In idle went down to 45C windows only and a browser. I used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

Some people made tear down pictures, but I strongly advise to make this operation in a laptop/pc service, with professionals, if you didn't do this before. Is not very hard to replace thermal compound but is also not very easy.

I manage to tear it down and made it up to the point where you try to flip the motherboard to reveal the cpu fan. I can feel it wiggle but I cannot seem to remove it via sliding it down.

I was able to remove the 4 screws highlighted on the image. Am I missing something?

Did you succeed? Also note that antennas are connected to the wifi module, you need to remove wifi module too, if you want to take out the motherboard. Also cooling system has a sticker you must remove that too and place back after repaste.

No I have not and decided to put it back together, but I was able to tweak the Power to 45w and somehow the average temps went down to 47C.

Would opening the top panel instead expose the screws for the CPU Fan and repaste from there?
