Connect 5.1 Digital Speaker System to U59 Pro

Hi All,

I have just got the U59 Pro system as an gift. There is an request to connect the system to an Creative 5.1 system . I was unable to find an straight forward option to make this connection. Do you guys suggest me to use an A2D convertor where o/p from 3.5 mm jack is converted into RCA and output from A2D is sent as Optical Input to the speaker system or any simpler options that you could advise.

Hi,

I was not able to make much progress with the A2D. I instead tried to use the following.

NEWCARE 4K@60HZ HDMI 2.0b Audio Extractor, HDMI Audio Converter Adapter,HDMI to HDMI + Optical Toslink SPDIF

I tried to get this connected. The device seems to get the display correct from the system. The Audio is something which it doesnt recognize. I'm not sure where and what to check.

any advise pls.
