My beelink wifi speed is horrendous. I have 32MB fibre optic cable into my house. But wifi speed on my beelink for both 2.4 and 5.8ghz gives me 3-4MB download and 8MB upload. This is almost impossible to watch movies. I tested on my iPad, my iPad wifi speed gives me 26MB download. So now I have to resort to LAN ethernet cable for my Beelink. I am thinking of buying another one for upstairs but its on hold. Can't do this with bad wifi connection. I was told Beeline uses a cheap wifi chipset.
You haven't told us if your wifi issue was present from when you received your box or if only after a recent OTA update. You haven't told us what steps you've tried to rectify if any. You also haven't indicated what brand your router is and what channels you are using bot both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
With the little info you have provided there are only two recommendations I can make:
1. If the issue was present from when you received the box, then return it for a refund or exchange if you haven't had it for long. Contact your reseller for how.
2. If the issue only showed up after a recent OTA then try using the Amlogic Burning Tool to downgrade to a previous firmware that worked before your slow speed and report back. This should help Beelink narrow down the cause if it's firmware/software related.
